[request] Old plugins that need remakes?

Like the subject line says. Plugins that have been abandoned, don’t really work anymore, etc.

Re: [request] Old plugins that need remakes?

There is some plugins that don’t really work – but many of them are after that included in the core or have been replaced with new one, made by other plugin-makers. Quite fun to notice that over three years old plugins are now mostly things that come with core.

Cheers!

Re: [request] Old plugins that need remakes?

not sure if its a plugin issue itself or whether its just become outdated compared to textpattern 4.0.5, but i often find odd things that don’t seem to work with ied_hide_in_admin

for example, hiding “Write: category 1” and “Write: category 2” doesn’t work unless a category actually exists. there are also some other odd issues where you have to select a certain combination of things to hide in order for other seemingly unrelated items to be hidden.

the original author said he’d look into it but that was 4 months ago :P

Not that I’m using it anymore but does dca_pop still work?

I am using glx_image, and that requires dca_pop, so I assume it still works :)

mrz_lastsidemod. I am now using wet’s code, though it doesn’t seem to update when an image is added.
Couldn’t this become a txp tag?

I wouldn’t mind seeing a rework of Albumpattern (http://forum.textpattern.com/viewtopic.php?id=2865), maybe with an option to use it in conjunction with Lightbox or Slimbox. I used to love the way you could create your own image galleries and add images to them from the Admin Interface, without any coding.
