Search results always listed twice

I suspect the problem lies in here:

<h3><txp:permlink><txp:title /></txp:permlink></h3>

<p><txp:search_result_excerpt /></p>

<p class=“small”><txp:permlink><txp:permlink /></txp:permlink> &#183; <txp:posted /></p>

where there are two closing tags for txp:permlink, but I don’t know why the results should be given twice on the page. What do I need to fix?

(By the way, I haven’t changed this file – it’s the way it came in my textpattern package.)

Search results always listed twice

You mean the entire list appears twice? If so, the problem is in your page: you’ve likely got more than one article tag in it.

You’re over my head, I’m happy to explain. I’m not writing the page. I have installed TextPattern in a directory, and I’m using it as it was delivered, as far as I know.

So if you can direct me to the page that this appears in, I’ll be happy to see if there’s more than one article tag, after of course, you tell me what th’ heck that means. :->

Seriously. I just started this last week.

shows top-free women in the French West Indies – nothing untoward as far as Europeans would be concerned.

The search box is in the right margin.

A search for Guadeloupe shows the double results:
http://cieux.info/?q=guadeloupe
with no photos.

Okay, that gave me my solution. I had this tag:
<txp:article form=“list_of_articles” />
and I didn’t need it.
