Article posted at future date shows 2 different posting times
Not safe for workplace*:
http://cieux.info/
shows (at this moment) a posting time of “5 hours ago” in Safari, but in FireFox, it shows a posting time of “18 hours ago.”
I typed the article 18 hours ago and set it to be published five hours ago, so I think I see what the discrepancy is, but still the posting time should be “5 hours ago” shouldn’t it? Why the difference in the two browsers.
*NSFW because photos show top-free women.

Hint: browser caching.

Re: Article posted at future date shows 2 different posting times
I cleared the cache in the browser showing 18 hours, and it now shows 20.
I suspect you have suggested the answer, though – the browser in which I created the article is the one showing 20 hours. The other browser is probably showing what other viewers see – the actual posting date and not the file creation date.

I see ’21 hours ago’ in my browser right now, though it’s hard to focus on the date ;)
