Move Textpattern from local machine to web server

Hi guys,

I’m new round here having just dipped my toes into the world of Textpattern.

I have a questions that is probably a really easy one for the guru’s on this forum to answer; I have developed my Textpattern site on my local OSX machine using MAMP and it is all working fine and dandy. My question is – how do I move this to my webserver? I have created a database and tried to import the exported SQL file from my local machine (via myPhpAdmin) but have had no joy. Is there a particular sequence to the procedure?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
