Need someone to install textpattern on a testing server
I’m doing some upgrade work for a client who already has textpattern integrated with their site – I have access to their production files.
I’d like to install textpattern on my testing server to avoid any problems while I make revisions, e.g. tweak their templates, etc.. My testing server needs to mirror the templates on their production. I’m not certain, but I don’t think I will need their database content mirrored on my testing server.

installing textpattern itself should be a cinch. download, place it somewhere in your local web root, follow the onscreen installation procedures. etc
as for your clients template, if you dont need their content, you could install mcw_templates on both the client site (back up their database of course) and your local test site . follow the installation instructions, export the template files from the client site and then just download and import them into your local textpattern installation. you may have to recreate the sections to mirror your clients textpattern install and download any presentation images used but i think that should be it. voila!
ps i checked your portfolio out. nice work! though in your ‘about’ section you have ‘tallented’ (talented) spelled wrong :P
