txp:file_download_list sort by date

[ no worries its fixed – I used sort=“id desc” ]

Is it possible to do this?

If not – whats the best work around – thanks

Doesn’t sort="created" work? It doesn’t say so in TextBook, but ‘created’ is a table column (and so is ‘modified’).

Yes. As far as I know you should be able to use every column name in the sort attribute, at least that is my experience so far.

iblastoff: if my assumption is right, you can add a lot more to several tags in TextBook ;)

When most tags support the “sort” attribute, you can usually sort in various directions with multiple columns. E.g. sort=“created desc, name”

Thanks… very interesting and something I will look into more… to be honest, being more of a designer than coder – I haven’t even looked at the txp database.

That’s correct, you can sort by all the column names in the table. They’re just listed in Textbook manually for quick reference.
