textpattern-table was not found.

After installing Textpattern on my server, configuring Apache and creating the mysql database I keep on getting the message below:

DB-Connect was succesful, but the textpattern-table was not found.

It runs through the initial setup screens where I give it my database credentials but as soon as I’ve updated the config.php file and hit “I did it” I get that error message. The initial user I configured had full access to the mysql database but I’ve also tried with root.

I’m running MySQL 5.0.37 and the TextPattern 4.0.5.
I understand it’s suppose to generate the tables but seems to be failing there somewhere, any pointers would be appreciated!

did you rename the config-dist.php to config.php?

Thanks for the quick reply.

No I didn’t, I created a new config.php based on the info from the setup. (I assume if config.php is not present the setup starts)

But I deleted the config.php now, renamed the config-dist.php config.php and updated the database information in the file but still get the same error. Full page included below :

Not sure what was wrong but maybe I didn’t flush all the privileges on the previous install. Restarted the entire process and this time it worked.
