Why are my direct links 404?
I did a clean, base install, no mods on debian.
http://gowowzers.com/dusk/textpattern
Comment/Title direct links return a 404
file path = dusk/textpattern/textpattern
I did not chmod anything
the actual directory textpattern is trying to get to was not created.
Any ideas?

you can check diagnostics by going to admin -> diagnostics to see what is reported there.
i can access your articles like this : http://gowowzers.com/dusk/textpattern/index.php?id=1
that method is using ‘messy urls’ as designated in your admin preferences. did you make sure to upload the included .htaccess file? your web server also might not support clean urls (or may require some modification on your part).
