Re: [archive] ajw_admin_workflow
Yeah, I’ve got it live and the error was at the bottom of the write page. Now that I have your plugin working though, I have to tell you, it looks and works great! The only thing I’d like back is an alphabetical listing of the writers again.
Thanks!

Re: [archive] ajw_admin_workflow
Ok, updated to v0.3.1, which should fix alphabetical sorting.

Re: [archive] ajw_admin_workflow
The new (4.0.4) core’s ability to handle this same function is excellent. Just can’t put in words how happy I am :D
Andrew, if you’re responsible … thx bro … that was extremely timely for me. can u imagine having to switch authors on 1000+ articles ? Now I can … done in under 5 minutes flat. :)
One thing I can’t figure out is that when I’ve filtered articles by category/section/author … the filtered list has prev/next links, but if I click on them, it goes back to the first page of the unfiltered article list. Selecting the page number from the dropdown list of pages seems to fix that though. If that’s a bug, can u forward it to the dev team, please. Thx again.

Re: [archive] ajw_admin_workflow
I wish I could say that I was, but that update was unrelated to this plugin. However, I’m sure that most of the requests posted on this thread were taken into account by Sencer/Mary/txp-dev when implementing this feature.
As to the behaviour you’re describing, yes, that looks like a bug. I just filed a patch.

Re: [archive] ajw_admin_workflow
I just ran into a problem with this plugin:
When I’ve transferred an article to a freelance user from my publisher user, the freelancer cannot save the article upon edit. I am sure that the ownership is changed correctly, so it’s quote weird. The owner should be able to save his own article, I mean…
Is anyone else experiencing the same problems?
This must be a bug, right?

Those permissions are set in admin_config.php.

Re: [archive] ajw_admin_workflow
There seems to be a problem with this plugin in IE, I guess it has something to do with the fact that getElementByID also fetches the “name” attribute in IE/Win. Could you alter the name of the input field somehow?
cheers,

Re: [archive] ajw_admin_workflow
Update: Using this code (from /include/txp_article.php) works:
if(!empty($GLOBALS['ID'])) { // newly-saved article
$id = $GLOBALS['ID'];
$step = 'edit';
} else {
$id = gps('ID');
}
Used it on line 13, instead of just $id = gps(‘ID’);.

Re: [archive] ajw_admin_workflow
No need for this plug-in: you can also change the article’s author from “Content -> Articles”.

Right you’re, but its produce list with only username and not alphabeticaly sorted. I have about 80 contributor, and its hard to remeber they by using username.
thanks.

Thanks lots!
At LAST I’ve cheerfully donated to the core devs at #TXP. I only wish I were able to give more. Thanks to the devs and ALL fellow TXPers. -A
