[contrib] txpmag.com
i sent an email via txpmag.com’s contact form about a month ago and i’ve just sent another today in regards to possibly providing regular, updated articles about the happenings and going-ons with textpattern. i’ve yet to receive any replies.
is anyone in touch with the contributors behind this site? it has not been updated in quite a while. alexandra has been absent from the board for several months it seems as well.

Re: [contrib] txpmag.com
I noticed that as well.
Sometimes, personal reasons can bring a project like this to a halt, which I hope is not the case.
In the hope, that Alex is well and before any conclusions are made, let’s wait for some news from Matthew and the others.

i’ve attempted to contact them over the past two months now about this. i even specified that if there was an issue with time commitment, life pursuits etc etc i’d be more than willing to volunteer and at least keep some steady flow of articles/content/whatever, if not the entire project. didn’t get any responses via their contact form though.

Re: [contrib] txpmag.com
The most reasonable thing, that I would have done in Alex place is to give off the domain and baseinstallation with the content tab.
As she is not responding to any e-mails, that means for me that she wants the thing to be there as a monument ( or as a corpse, if you prefer ), not to take it down entirely.
Hard to understand really, good to know at least that she’s well.
All the best to Alex then, whatever she desires.
regards, marios

Is it Alex’s own domain or is it a Joyent hosted site?

whois at dotster lists it as Alex’s domain. The nameservers I do not recognise as being those of textdrive. Not sure what the Joyent nameservers are.

It certainly used to be her own but I can remember there being talk of moving to textdrive some time ago. I sent her a message via her german txp-site. Maybe she’ll put her head around the door briefly – it’d be nice to see her back.
