File upload consequently fails

When I try to upload something to Textpatterns file archive, the upload fails.

I get the following errors:

From PHP:

Warning: insert into mydb_file set filename = ‘random.jpg’, category = ‘’, permissions = ‘’, description = ‘’ in
/path/to/my/textpattern/lib/txplib_db.php on line 84

And from my Textpattern install:

File upload failed (db_add)

I can’t figure this one out. Please help if you think you know how I can come up with a solution.
I might add that I’ve already read this previous post on the subject (and searched the forum of course), but the cases don’t seem related to me. :-)

The problem also concerns image upload. When I choose an image and press ‘upload’, I get a blank page. The ‘image entry’ is created in the db, but the image isn’t uploaded — however I can upload it via the edit function. Weird!

Re: File upload consequently fails

Is that the complete PHP warning? Looks like it’s incomplete.

Re: File upload consequently fails

It is all I get. Except for the db name and the path, it is authentic.
Sometimes only the Textpattern alert shows, though (“File upload failed (db_add)”).
