Image gallery navigation - Lost cno_image_nav ?
I need an old plug-in if anyone has it handy. Either that or I need some kind of solution.
I’m doing image galleries without the use of of plug-ins (using image categories) and it’s all working really well, but I cannot figure out how to link to the “next image” in the category. (Ideally, you should just be able to click the picture and it will take you to the next one. Think Facebook.)
cno_image_nav seems to be the only solution, but the author has taken it off his site.

I’m not actually sure if that is what I’m looking for, as I’ve obviously been unable to implement it, but if anyone has downloaded it in the past and wouldn’t mind putting up the code here, I would be truly indebted to you.
Otherwise, if anyone has any idea of how to make my gallery do exactly what I want with a different plug-in (or, even better, no plug-in), that would be just as well.

Don’t know if you have tried ike_slideshow plugin, it works really well and has pagination for the next/prev links.

I posted a possible solution a few months back that uses asy_wondertag, but it was for section navigation. Not sure if the code I posted would “just work” on a category page, but it might, and if it doesn’t, try with the addition of the category attribute in the article_custom tag.

If you want cno_image_nav drop me an email and I will send it to you. I have been working on an updated version of cno_gallery on and off for a while now, making some progress here and there, hopefully I will get it together to make an updated version available soon, but I really want it to be bundled with a image sequencing plugin (so that image order can be changed after uploading). But anyway let me know if you want it and cno_image_nav will be in your inbox in no time.
