This isn’t possible. Unless your browser allows you change that (doubtful), what you get is what you get (a tab is a tab as far as the plugin itself is concerned).

Maybe a future version of this nice plug-in could include an option to insert a tab or 4 (or any other configurable quantity) spaces. Of course, that’s what the space bar is for…

Ok i understand that a tab is a tab.

I just thought it might be possible just it is in dreamweaver that you are able to specify that using the tab inserts “X” spaces when the form field is infocus?

Am… When pressing tab in Opera 9.21 (Win) it pastes tab but also acts as tab button – focus moves to next element.

Opera is finiky. It used to work just fine… :s

Any luck getting this to work in Chrome?
