Re: drop down lists for custom fields
@hakjoon: cheers mate, let me know if it works the way you were expecting to.
@jstubbs: cheers! Yes, of course you can use it on multiple sites.
No, this is NOT the BIG thing. I simply didn’t have time to put that together as well, but it will happen at some point. Now that the plugin is out, I have a single thing to focus on in my spare time, much better than juggling.
@ricetxp: glad you’ve enjoyed it, the plugin should have reached you by now.

Re: drop down lists for custom fields
After playing with this for a while, I find it super powerful and a snap to use. Thanks, and kudos to gerhard.
Everyone else… make some donations. Gerhard wants to recoup some time before he dives into v2. which I’ve heard will add some much more powerful features… almost xPattern-alicious.

Whilst people might have current TXP websites on which they would like to use this plugin, unless you have left the custom fields as they were, you might find yourself in tricky situations. I simply cannot predict how your databases looks like, so while a migration script would seem a requirement, I chose to let it out for the initial release. If enough people will require something like this, I will definitely look into it, but otherwise just shout for help and I’ll see what I can do on individual cases.
Hi gerhard can you please clarify what you mean when you say “unless you have left the custom fields as they were”.
I use custom fields extensively and your plugin seems that it could be of great use but i would hate to have to edit about 700 articles in order to use it.

Re: drop down lists for custom fields
And can you start a new thread for this plugin?

Re: drop down lists for custom fields
Gerhard this is a great plugin.
It is working flawlessly but there is only a little feature I’m missing: the possibility to set a default value for custom fields.
For example when I use a yes/no radio input I think it would be appropriate to have one selected by default.
Is this already possible and I missed something? If not consider it a “feature request”.
Cheers
