Where are posters' user names?

In every PunBB-based forum I have seen, the poster’s user name is displayed to the left of the post, often with an accompanying avatar. With this forum, all I ever see is “Alpha,” “Developer,” etc. So, I can never tell who is posting!

Is there a preference setting somewhere that I am missing?

Thanks!

Re: Where are posters' user names?

Yes, there is, and should be, an username displayed above the title.

As you can see in that screenshot.

Cheers!

Re: Where are posters' user names?

Strange, I see only blank space above the title.

OK, it looks like a Camino-specific issue. When I use Safari or Firefox, the user names are there. In Camino, only blank space…

Try if setting another style (in your profile) makes a difference.

Nope, same problem with all styles.

Re: Where are posters' user names?

You must have some rules in your usercontent.css that hides those usernames. There is nothing in Camino that would prevent those from showing up.

Re: Where are posters' user names?

I don’t even know what usercontent.css is. So, if it is some sort of custom css file, I wouldn’t have modified it.

Re: Where are posters' user names?

Ehm… actually lately I noticed some posters are referring to other posters as “hi alpha” or “thanks gamma” and I was surprised someone could be confused…
Well, this seems to be an answer. Maybe there are other people experiencing this (not me)

Re: Where are posters' user names?

Yeah, redbot

I have noticed that too. That also little confused me, why someone uses those titles (latin letters) to greet the others. That could be the answer to that (and is, if we are correct).

Cheers!

Re: Where are posters' user names?

Here’s a screenshot of the problem in Camino:

Edit: Why doesn’t the above Textile code work here?

Re: Where are posters' user names?

Probably because the forum uses some kind of ‘lite textile’.
