Otso, cheers mate ; ).
Now it’s up to you, the users, to tell me where we take this thing next. I’m sure everyone will come with some pretty interesting usage ideas for the plugin, I’ll be here to nip, tuck, tweak and basically take the whole idea further.
TXP officially rocks x 2!

Re: drop down lists for custom fields
Ok, so although I have a ton of things here on my desktop, this impressive work needed to be looked at right away.
So far only tried a simple dropdown select, which works fine, even on my hacked TXP development install.
No bugs found yet.
I can see the code is very clean and sober also.
Will try to get my fingers more at it tomorrow.
Thanks again for this great piece of work.
regards, marios

Re: drop down lists for custom fields
Playing around with the new Search Result function. However, it would make more sense to set up a new separate clean install, to get some consistant testing results.
Hey, I also love the TXP yellow in my article textarea on focus. So much nicer.

Re: drop down lists for custom fields
Hey Marios ; ),
yes, setting up a clean install would definitely help. I know that I came with the original hack back in 2005, but a lot of things changed since then, TXP got upgraded and so on so forth. Different people will have different setups, different hacks etc., so my suggestion would be to start with a clean slate in the form of TXP 4.0.5.
Whilst people might have current TXP websites on which they would like to use this plugin, unless you have left the custom fields as they were, you might find yourself in tricky situations. I simply cannot predict how your databases looks like, so while a migration script would seem a requirement, I chose to let it out for the initial release. If enough people will require something like this, I will definitely look into it, but otherwise just shout for help and I’ll see what I can do on individual cases.
I’m just finishing off the documentation and putting the whole plugin into a proper, base64 form. All the people that contributed, expect an e-mail with the new version within the next few hours.
Cheers all!

Re: drop down lists for custom fields
Looks great! Will check it out and donate tomorrow…..questions:
Can we use it on more than one site?
Is this the BIG thing you mentioned, or is there more? :-)
