How do I recover my password?
Wouldn’t it be obvious that if I lose my PW or user ID, that the TXP login page would allow me to email me my password? But I don’t see that option. Am I missing something?

Re: How do I recover my password?
actually this is something i’d like to see as well. not that i’ve ever needed it, but i’ve had clients pestering me long after they’ve gone their own way about needing to get their password. and then its a huge hassle leading them to their webhost to get their database info, log in, reset it via mysql commands etc etc
for now, all you can do is this

Re: How do I recover my password?
Thanks for pointing me to that. The issue is fixed.
But really, I’m flabbergasted that TXP platform doesn’t even have a simple (or so I think) feature like this? It would be such a huge hassle for client and designer to have to do this all the time.

Re: How do I recover my password?
Passwords cannot be recovered because they are not stored anywhere, only a hash of it is (in other words, you can’t decrypt it). A plugin could allow you to reset a password though, and that should be a standard feature, yes.
