[wiki] tag list
I’ve got a question concerning the tag list in the TextBook. We have more or less 10 languages present in the wiki at the moment but every languages has to maintain its own version of the tag list. So it might happen, that there are some updates in Chinese for one tag, other changes for another tag in German but none of these changes will make it into French (for example)…
Is there any simple way to maintain the tag names and attributes in one place and just split the descriptions and explanations into different languages?

I don’t know of any way to have Mediawiki be language sensitive on parts of a page. I think it’s either the whole page or nothing.
Ugh I need to get on upgrading mediawiki now that I have net access again.

@Patrick, I always get an internal Server Error on User login.

It’s something with the new server. Fillip is supposed to be looking into it but it doesn’t seem to be very high on his priority list.
I’ve been traveling a lot since the server change happened so I haven’t really had time to try to fix it myself. I’m back home this weekend so I’ll try to take a stab at it.

The Issue continues to exist. Apart from some additions, corrections that I would like to make, I found out, that the manual doesn’t have a chapter about image upload procedure.
I have a need now to write such a thing down, with screenshots for my own needs, so I thought to add in textbook as well. But hey, no way in.
I’m going to send some mails out now.

I tried some stuff this weekend but no luck.
I’m going to try a new install of MW and see if the problem exists there too.
I have another email on the way to Fillip asking for updates on this.
