Re: appending .html to article urls
That won’t work, because TXP wouldn’t recognize the .html endings on /section. Changing that in TXP is probably not trivial.

Everything is clear – while editing article (or making new) there is field “Title only for URL” – i’m not sure that it sounds so in english, but it’s in the bottom of left colomn (under field for article’s images). If you enter there “you_page_name.html” you will get www.yoursite.com/you_page_name.html
I hope now it’s anderstandable description? $)

i tried that, but the url will not load the article content.
Getting this in the article area:
404 Not Found
The requested resource was not found.

Well, actually extensions are bad for SEO, and if there isn’t slash at the end it isn’t folder, even with out extension.
- They make URL longer
- Some search-engines doesn’t seperate extension and actual word (like blog.html, is blog.html, not just blog)
- It’s user-friendlier with out extension
