One way of making articles have a different look or layout is to use different forms for the main bit of the page. Set up a few different alternatives based on the same basic page template but with different forms for the articles.

In the page template you can specify a default template. In each article you can override the standard form with an alternative form of your choice using the override form drop-down on the left. That way each article can have a different look. How different they are depends on how ingenious you are.

An example: I’ve used this before to post articles with slightly different content to the same section. I set up forms for text-single-column (standard), text-multi-column, an image-plus-two-columns-beneath.

Its posible make a profile each user?

If you just want each author’s posts to look different, e.g. authorA has a red background, authorB a blue background etc. just output the article author into an ID or CLASS, e.g. <div id="wrapper" class="<txp:author link="0" />"> ...article content here... </div>, and use CSS to make them display differently. e.g. #wrapper .authorA {background-color:blue;} #wrapper .authorB {background-color:yellow;} and so on.

If you want authors to have their own profiles, please search the forum and textpattern.org. There are lots of posts about that and some special plug-ins.

Finally: the textbook and textpattern resources are your friends ;-)
