[Solved] Why the article and comment links bring me to the error page?
I modified the TerraFirma template but somehow the article link and comment link would not show, clicking those link would just show the modified error page. :-o
I’m really new with TXP and i’m not a programmer or such…
Anybody can help me to identify the problems at xxxxx ?

Looks like you’re missing the ‘article’ section, but there does exist an ‘archive’ section. Perhaps you should set the section for the articles to ‘archive’ instead of ‘article’.

Hi Ruud,
Ya… that’s what the TerraFirma installation instruction saying… delete the archive page, as all the section would be using the default page, so change the Uses Page of article section to Default.
The article section is there with the initial installation isn’t it? I do not understand what you meant by “you’re missing the ‘article’ section”….
I have the archive section which is only meant for the Archive article (for the Live Archive).
I’m lost….

Go to the ‘articles’ tab, click the ‘first post’ article. Change the section to ‘archive’ and save it. Currently it’s still set to ‘article’, even though you removed that section/page.

Ruud, i tried your method, by putting back the initial archive ‘page’, then set the ‘first post’ article to ‘archive’ section, it works! But it shows at the Archive section though… which is not what i want.
I then change the ‘first post’ article back to ‘article’ section again (i have to let you know that i never removed the ‘article’ section since i installed TXP), and…. Voila! Everything shows up nicely now… but i really have no idea why… except that i put back the initial archive page.
I never thought that by deleting it would bring me such problem… of course, i cannot confirm that is the cause…
Anyway, thank you for your fast reply. I could sleep well now.. it’s 1:35am now. :-P
