Comments not displayed

Another attempt to make it out across the forum, but I havn’t found the answer to this simple question (my stupidity doesn’t have limits!!):

When I click to the comments invitein the blog it apears this error:
“Tag error: -> Textpattern Notice: Page template blog does not contain a txp:article tag on line 464”

Page template has:
<txp:article_custom form="default" section="blog" sortby="Posted" sortdir="desc" listform="default" />.

Am I missing something?

Yes, comments are enabled in admin.

Thankiu :)

Re: Comments not displayed

<txp:article_custom> is not the same as <txp:article>

Re: Comments not displayed

Yes, but when I chage “article_custom” for “article”, it doesn’t even display the “comments” link :’(

Any idea of what should I do?

Re: Comments not displayed

try changing listform to form.

I believe listform isn’t used anymore.

I already have a form=“default” tag.

Re: Comments not displayed

Why don’t you tell us what is in your page, and what is in your default form.

Re: Comments not displayed

first of all, do these articles even have comments? what does your default form look like? does it have <txp:if_comments> container tags?

Re: Comments not displayed

Oh my god.. I’ve been illuminated by someone who replayed another topic I’ve posted in this forum, about something that has nothing to see with comments… and it have worked. Just had to change “article_custom” for “article”.

Article custom is displayed automaticaly in left side tags, they shoud erase it if it doesn’t work anymore.

Thank you very much to all anyway, I’m glad to see you don’t mind to be bothered by a seupid newbi :)

(now I only need to fix the problem in the other thread lol)
