Are feeds cached somewhere ? RSS2 TXP 4.0.5

I have to customize the feedoutput for the frontpage. For the purpose of testing, I’d like to refresh the changes each time there is one.
However, either change of settings doesn’t produce any change.

Is it cached somewhere ?

regards, marios

Textpattern itself doesn’t cache the RSS output, so it’s either caching plugin or your RSS reader that is caching the feed. Have you tried testing using your browser (Firefox for example)?

Safari seems to download the file in the downloads folder. But even deleting the file and changing RSS Browser prefs, gives me always the same thing. Strange.

Firefox stalls my system ( Too resource intensitive ) and I have to force quit.
Netnewswire fail on me as well.

What do you mean? Feeds don’t reflect your front page, but are a straight list of the most recently created articles.

I meant through plugin. I want a feed with the two latest article excerpts from one specific section combined with one excerpt from another section for the frontpage feed url, and then refresh the output in my browser everytime I make some changes in the plugin code.
