How do I lose the "read more" link....?
Is there a simple way to do this. Tx!

what do you mean lose it? something like ‘read more’ should only appear if you’ve actually specified to use it. are you using excerpts or something?

thanks for replying iblastoff – i assumed that it should only appear if you specify it, but i don’t know how to unspecify it. there doesn’t seem to be a tag for it. i’ve tried hard to make sure i’m not using excerpts – perhaps that’s part of the problem. is read more a plug-in?

Well, it is hard to tell what “read more”-link is. Maybe it’s a plugin, like rss_auto_excerpt that output’s the thing and also causes the article-cutoff, that you were talking about earlier on other topic. But it can, althought, be just a link, like <txp:permlink>Read more...</txp:permlink>.
- What is in your article-form?
- What plugins you have?
- Tag trace?

hey gocom, i do have the rss auto excerpt plug in – perhaps it’s that. i’ve tried to disable it….but when i do, i get some annoying error text on the front page…i’ll try again and see what happens. tx. simon

are you using a txp template or something? or did you install rss_auto_excerpt on your own? either way, the plugin makes use of its own tag (<txp:rss_auto_excerpt />) so you’d need to find where it is and replace it with the ordinary <txp:article /> tag

yes, iblastoff, we are using a template – and it came w rss_auto_excerpt installed. i’ll follow your suggestion and see how that plays out. thanx again.
