Get rid of ?pg= and use page/1 page/2

I think it’s default but is there a way to get rid of the uncool ?pg=1 parameter in the URLs and use something link /page/1 /page/2 instead?

Yes, it could be done, as far I see. As just any another messy-url to clean-url…

i think that’s one of the things zem_redirect handles. either that or gbp_permanent_links, can’t remember right now… anyhow on the latest site i’ve developed, the pagination URLs are in the form of site.com/2, /3,…

A potential problem with using such clean page urls is that /section/2 could mean both ‘second page of the section article list’ or ‘article with id 2’.

A “magic word ala page could be used.

/section/page/2
/section/page/3
/section/123 = article

It would be nice if the page keyword could be user defineable but that’s just extra icing on the cake.
