Weekly summary post
My txp is a bit rusty, so i’m having a bit of a hard time figuring out what I want to do.
Ideal scenario:
1. I post happily away all week long in my “thoughts” section
2. On, say, Monday, an article is published on my “news” section, with a summary of all my posts on the “thoughts” section for the previous week (basically an article list, but within a post)
Is there any way to accoplish this? any plugins I can look into?
thanks! :)

Re: Weekly summary post
It’s possible if you create the monday summary article yourself, by inserting a customized article_custom tag in the article, selecting all articles between that day (monday) and a week earlier. This requires a plugin. Not sure if a plugin exists which can do such date selections, but have a look on textpattern.org.

Re: Weekly summary post
Your situation is along the lines of what these were originally created for, they only manage display by posting date not article generation and pagination. They might help you with this though.
Some ideas on how the tags can be laid out to accomplish different things

Re: Weekly summary post
Thanks guys. This might work. I would have preferred to have an actual, separatepost, but i will work on tweaking with these plugins so I can display last week’s posts on my news section.
Thanks!
