Re: TUDelft Master Students Blog-CMS
But it still looks pretty damn good :). Though kinda templatey.
My gosh they built it with tables! What a shame… How on earth can you make a textpattern template with tables :O.

Re: TUDelft Master Students Blog-CMS
A pretty good design, but a shame, it’s made with tables. For a goodness, why?
But fortunately there is no tables inside f****‘o’many tables – just couple tables inside tables :P. But afterall there is tables used as design-elements, for columns. Tables are only for tables, remember that – columns can be easily done by divs.
Cheers!

Re: TUDelft Master Students Blog-CMS
many of your links do not work. specifically the list at the top right (minus the ‘images’ link which is clearly from templatemonster.com). seems you havent edited out some of the default links from whatever template you used..
would have been a nice txp template ‘port’ if the tables were replaced.

Re: TUDelft Master Students Blog-CMS
First of all, Its not a template :P
It has been made just for this site. Yah some of the links are still to be developed. It looks templatey because it is still incomplete and there are so many things yet to be put on it.
So sorry to use tables … I now know that there are so many haters of the table. I severe it won’t be used next time :P

Hey guys you are just focusing on the look and not the content which is far more interesting than most sites.

Re: TUDelft Master Students Blog-CMS
Thank you Yiannis … did you see how they just ripped me for that font and Date Pattern of Veerle … :(
I think I should change the font and picture asap though :P
By the way, I am sure Veerle never used those enormous amount of tables in her design which my site holds quite diligently and proudly :D

Are you kidding? It’s obvious both sites use the same images icons for the calendar, pencil, categories and the links. Moreover, there are whole chunks of CSS that are the same for both sites.
Veerle’s site has looked the same since Spring of last year, and your oldest post is from July of this year, so…

Re: TUDelft Master Students Blog-CMS
Mister Faisail Khan, I am flattered that my design inspired you but you don’t have my permission to use my icons. So please remove the calendar and pencil icon immediately. I am already mild because it’s clearly stated in my CSS:
/* You may adapt and learn from the elements of this CSS to use in your own
projects, but you may not copy the design (the unique combination of images,
colors, sizes, typography, and positioning) since this is copyright of Veerle Pieters
and Duoh! n.v. and may not be reproduced.
You took it one step too far already by using the exact same colors as well. But I am willing to let that one slide.
Best regards,
Veerle Pieters
