Include keywords in Textpattern Search

Anyone know if there a way to configure the built-in Textpattern search functionality to include article keywords and/or custom fields? It looks to me like Textpattern search only applies to article titles and body text.

Not possible without hacking TXP code or writing a plugin that duplicates a lot of code.
Yes, TXP search currently searches only titles and body.
