Article Tab: Add Another Field To Spreadsheet
I am sure someone else has run across this item … but this is my first project where this has come up ….
I need to add a column on this view to include information in a Custom Field … although they will not be able to search on this item from the Admin side … becaues of the number of articles, I need to be able to clarify for them that they are selecting the proper one … the title field alone will not do this ….

Let me try again ….
As you know, on the Article Tab .. TXP currently displays:
ID# | Posted | Title | Section | Status | Author
And if you select Detail View you get the following:
ID# | Posted | Modified | Title | Section | Category 1 | Category 2 | Status | Author
For a current project, I need to show:
ID# | Posted | Title | Custom 1 | Section | Status | Author
Because of the searching limitations (not complaining) but the inabaility to search Custom fields on the Admin side, I need to give my user the capability to see the Title and a custom field so that they can confirm (without having to go into the actual article) that they have located what they are looking for.
I hope this makes more sense.

The easiest ways is to modify TXP code. Doing this in a plugin is possible, but means duplicating the entire txp_list.php code in a plugin.
