[request] Download Tracker
People can download a free software application from my website (an OWL Editor). I’d like to be able to capture downloaders’ e-mail address if they wish to provide them, so I can send out updates, bug fixes, etc. At the moment, I’m using something called Download Trakker, but it forces the user to register then mails them a link to the download. I don’t need anything that heavy – just a voluntary e-mail field that people can fill in, and a checkbox for them to tick to say they’ve read the disclaimer. I’m afraid I’m no PHP programmer, so wouldn’t even know how to start this. Is there anything out there that does this already ?

you could use zem_contact_reborn and on ‘send’ the download link could appear.
