online 'billing' your clients
has anyone used services like freshbooks or cashboard ? just curious as i’m just used to receiving plain ole paypal payments :(

I’ve used FreshBooks. From the perspective of billing, these just use PayPal or another payment gateway, but also allow you to make “pretty” (with your logo) invoices. It can also bug your clients for you if they fail to pay by a certain time. I find it a bit of a pain to use, since I like to bill and receive payment before I commence work, and it doesn’t really let you do that (you gotta fiddle with “credits” and so on).

ahh thanks for the input, mary. i’ll give freshbooks a try and see how it goes.
