Extra Space in Article Title
I’ve been using TXP for a few years, and have never had this problem before. I’m using 4.0.5 and my <txp:title /> tags are giving me some strange output. Immediately before the last word of a title, a non-breaking space is being inserted. It is always immediately preceding the last word of a title, no matter how long or short the title is. The output looks like this:
Here’s My Heading
I’ve disabled all plug-ins, and the problem remains. I’ve also checked the database directly, and made certain there are no extra spaces between words of the title in the database.
This is an issue for me because I am using an image replacement technique that uses Javascript and PHP to replace my headings with images on the fly. The extra space generated by TXP means that my headings look bad. The issue is NOT with the image replacement however, as I have turned off Javascript and see very clearly in the generated source code of the page that the extra space is being generated by TXP.
Has anybody else run across this or have any suggestions?
Thanks very much

Re: Extra Space in Article Title
Check your advanced preferences for the one about no widows.

Re: Extra Space in Article Title
That solved the problem! I changed it from “Yes” to “No” and now my titles display as expected. Thanks a mint, Mary.
