Sudden error message upon click on full article link
This is the message I receive:
Notice: Undefined variable: Section in /home/libbysbl/public_html/textpattern/publish/taghandlers.php on line 2476
Can someone help? This is pretty urgent, all articles used to link fine…what happened?

Re: Sudden error message upon click on full article link
A tag trace of an individual article is probably in order. Right now when I visit one, I get a 404 error.

Re: Sudden error message upon click on full article link
I was trying to add a form mail and thank you page as sections to the site…the form i created with help of the hosting server’s control panel.
everything seemed to work well untill i noticed that all my articles and comments now linked to the thank you page.
therefore i quickly undid everything put the pages still can not be found.
oh boy

When you view the list of articles (on the admin side, tab: articles), do all articles have a section set?

Re: Sudden error message upon click on full article link
no – because i did not have any other sections before. then, when i added the ‘thank you page’ , i noticed that the articles where posted in that section. .but i deleted all sections, only default is left. ??

Re: Sudden error message upon click on full article link
how would i apply a specific section (the default) to the articles?

Re: Sudden error message upon click on full article link
Select all articles (checkboxes on the right side), then at the bottom you can change the section for all those articles to ‘default’. Each article should have a section set.

Sorry to barge in, but since when can articles belong to section ‘default’? Or is this a 4.0.5 novelty?

Re: Sudden error message upon click on full article link
Um.. oops, foutje.
Heik, create a new section (‘default’ is not a real section) and set that section for all the articles as described above.

DANKE DANKE Ruud und Els,
so simple hm? Thanks again for the rescue mission.
Now, what did my form mail from the server have to do with that? Nothing?

I have no idea what the effect of that form might have been ;)
If you want a contact form, consider using the zem_contact_reborn plugin for TXP. That integrates nicely with TXP, better than an external form as provided by your webhost.
