Transfer a TXP site
Hi guys, txp noob here looking for guidence:
I’ve made a TXP website on my own hosting server, and would like to move it to my friends server (for whom i made the site for) and was wondering how to go about doing it.
Forgive me if it’s obvious or if I’m asking a dumb question but after reading through the faq’s and doing a quick search, I didn’t find anything useful (or if I did, nothing written that a noob like me could understand).

Re: Transfer a TXP site
- Back up the db
- upload all files in your friend’s server
- use phpMyadmin to upload he db you backed up
- change config.php to the new server’s path
- change the cite url of the site in Admin>Preferences
- change paths in Admin>Preferences>Advanced
