RSS not validating

I’ve added an RSS feed to a website I’m working on but Safari, Firefox 2.0.0.4 or NetNewsWire can read it.

The URL is: feed://www.conwaytennisclub.co.uk/atom/

This is what I’ve added to the header:
<txp:feed_link format="link" flavor="rss" label="Atom" />
<txp:feed_link format="link" flavor="atom" label="RSS" />

And this is what the validator says:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
line 2, column 0: XML parsing error: <unknown>:2:0: xml declaration not at start of external entity

I’m at a lost where to go from here as this line doesn’t appear in my page code. The above has worked fine on other sites I’ve done so should really work here too – anyone got any ideas?

I don’t know the answer but I notice at the start of each page you have
<!— logged: yes —>
The only other thing that usually goes there is
<?xml version=“1.0” encoding=“UTF-8”?>

Thanks for your replies guys.

The <!— logged: yes —> appears to generated from the Permanent links setting which is section/title, the Diagnostics displays clean_url_data_failed: <!-- logged: yes -->. If I change it to messy URLs then none of the links work. I’ve had a look in Textbook and it appears that it’s not going to be possible to have clean URLs.

I’ve tracked down the cause of the <!— logged: yes —> message. It was generated by the wet_slimpattern plug-in, once I switched it off, my clean URLs returned.

However, still can’t get RSS to work. This is the site, anyone have any ideas what’s going wrong?

Feed both displays properly and validates. Whatever was wrong, isn’t there anymore?
