since upgrading to TXP v.4.0.5
I am getting validation warnings on pages with ampersands in the body content… it seems that textile is not converting the ampersands… has anyone else noticed this? Here’s one of my sites that I upgraded.

Please post your high diagnostics.
If you edit that article in the write tab and click the ‘html’ tab, is the ampersand properly encoded there?

OK, maybe I’m losing it… for example, if you go to this page (or any page on the site) and click on the “valid xhtml” link at the bottom, you’ll see that the page validates, but it gives warnings for all of the ampersands… When I “view source” in my browser (Firefox), it looks like none of the ampersands are encoded.
Inside textpattern, when I view the html tab, the ampersands are encoded not as &, but as &.

If you save that article again, does that solve it?
If not, please post exactly what the text of the article as you have it in the write tab.
