Upgrade Issue /lib/constants.php mostly

I just tried to upgrade my 4.0.4 install and I am now receiving the following errors:

Warning: include(D:\www\GAD_Site/textpattern/lib/constants.php) [function.include]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in D:\www\GAD_Site\index.php on line 24

Warning: include() [function.include]: Failed opening ‘D:\www\GAD_Site/textpattern/lib/constants.php’ for inclusion (include_path=’.;C:\php5\pear’) in D:\www\GAD_Site\index.php on line 24

Notice: Use of undefined constant IS_FASTCGI – assumed ‘IS_FASTCGI’ in D:\www\GAD_Site\index.php on line 27

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at D:\www\GAD_Site\index.php:24) in D:\www\GAD_Site\index.php on line 28
config.php is missing or corrupt. To install Textpattern, visit textpattern/setup/

I can access my admin panel, and it looks fine. However, trying to access the site first sends the url to an https://gad.ncsu.edu address (which receives a time out message). Upon taking the “s” out and doing a non-secure http search for the url, I get the above errors.
Any idea how I can fix the problem?

This is plain english.

It means that that a file that textpattern tries to include (which belongs to the base-distriubtion) is missing. Namely:
http://svn.textpattern.com/releases/4.0.5/source/textpattern/lib/constants.php

The other errors are “follow-up”-errors dependent on that.

Re: Upgrade Issue /lib/constants.php mostly

Dang, that was a little schmarmy:-) Thanks a ton for your prompt response though. Is there any reason why the upgrade utility is not renaming my install folder to the correct name in all the right places. I have renamed it something other than “textpattern.” That is why it is not finding the file. Can anyone please advise as to what files I would need to manually update to ensure that the correct directory is being located?

FYI, the constant.php file is there and it has been there the entire time. That is why the error confused me.

Re-upload the file. There’s apparently something that went wrong the last time. It ahppens with a lot of ftp-clients apparently from time to time.

The developers do not support re-naming any folders except images and files.
