We Love TXP.com
Hi, just launched welovetxp.com which is dedicated to showcasing sites created using Textpattern.
It is a design gallery crosses site directory, which I hope will help show the wide variety of designs and sites that can be made using Textpattern.
Built using the latest version of Textpattern naturally, with the added help of a couple of plugins.
Feel free to submit your site, there is no screening process, no “your site isn’t pretty enough”.. as long as you are using Textpattern that is fine by us!
Would love to know your comments and thoughts, thanks.

Very good idea… This was a missing brick in the Txp community and in the “Let’s see yours” topic…
Just wonder how you built the voting poll for every thumbnail inside Txp…

I used a slightly modified version of Mahmut Kavici’s txp:css_rating plugin.

Great, I’ve always wondered why txpmag didn’t show screenshots of all their listed sites, but now they don’t need to :) I like both the concept and the layout. Well done!

Great stuff. If you send me your email I will forward you the feature site requests I get. Since a lot of them don’t get on the site.

Hi everyone,
I have had several requests to see what Plugins I am using at welovetxp.com and instead of replying to everyones emails I thought it best to post the list here:
- ajw_comment_alt – Alternate comment background colours.
- csb_feed_image – Inserts the article image in the feed.
- css_rating – Ajax rating system (modified).
- gho_comments_invite – Custom comment invites.
- glx_gravatar – Gravatar integration.
- mdn_count – Provides a count of the articles.
- rss_admin_show_adv_opts – Keeps the Advanced Options expanded.
- rss_suparchive – Archiving.
- tru_tags – Tags (used for colours).
- zem_contact_lang – Forms.
- zem_contact_reborn – Forms.
- zem_nth – Displays information between articles.

I think everyone should…
Just a thought:
Why don’t you add this field, plugin used, when someone submits a site on WLT ?
It’s just somekind of future feature request, the site is just great as it is right now…
I have a question also: why did you modify css rating ?

That’s actually a great idea, will look into implementing this at some point in the future.

Several reasons, in the original version once you click on star to rate something the ajax callback displays a <p> tag with the new rating info, eg: 3.5/5(2 votes). This would break the layout on the homepage of WLT by pushing the sites below further down the page.
Secondly, within each individual article I am showing what the exact rating is. I am using <txp:if_section> so that that information isn’t displayed on the homepage, only on each article page.
It was only a small modification to the actual plugin, and then some other changes to the rpc.php file included in this plugin (for the ajax).
