[request] Static html copy of a website plugin?

Joomla has a “compoment” that can copy a whole dynamic site into html static pages.
I think it will be (very) difficult to create such one for TXP… but very interesting to have a copy on CDrom for lot of usages :

• a catalog to show/give to prospects ;
• a pre-realise of a website on a CDrom without a local server.
• many others…

What do you think about ?

HTTrack or wget, I think. What’s the purpose of a plugin for that?
