Importing from file and custom url

I’m trying to import old entries from a custom CMS, using MT file format.

I haven’t found any way to customize url of the entries to match the old entries.

I can’t see that mentioned anywhere. Is that impossible?

I know your unvaluable plugin very well, Graeme… :)

But I’d like to have the url field of the article corresponding to the original one, just to avoid manually writing 63 rules… :)

There is a preference option (redirect_mt_style_links) in the plugin which should do what you need – hopefully. To be honest it’s been a while since I’ve tested it – if it’s broken let me know and I’ll see what I can do.

Yes, there is that option. But I don’t know how to use it. I’m not actually importing from MT. Just using MT format to import.

I changed a source file to fill the url_title field, and succeeded. But now I’m having a different problem, not depending on TXP, I suppose… it’s difficult to explain, let me spend some more time on it… Thanks!
