More form types, please?
Different flavours for misc. Like “plugin”, “contact”, “static”, “wrapper”.. Misc is nice, but it’s a bit too large umbrella IMHO.
Of course I can try fight form noise with different naming schemes, but after certaing point I have to fight form name noise.. Colour coding form screen helps a little though.
(a plugin side-question: how ok it is a plugin to create it’s own forms with its own types? Easier to find, can be easily removed.. Just wondering how “Ok” it is.. Might be a “it depends”-situation.)

Currently, the only interface elements inside Textpattern which are form type sensitive are the tag builders. So, from a plugin programmers POV, nothing can stop you from defining and using your own form types.
We are starting to add more form types in crockery, as we extend the capabilities of list-producing tags to accept a form attribute. So, as for instance txp:section_list gains a form attribute, there will be a section form type. This has not to be confused with the idea of form categories – as a means of organization, not semantics.

(yep, i first wrote form cate^H^H^H^H..) Nice to hear. IMHO forms are “that thing” in TXP.
Can you tell if devs have any thought on form builder itself btw?
