Re: ...use BBCode?

Did you mean in the forms section where you can edit the style of the pages?
In this case I tried to insert this in the form named default:

<txp:ied_replacer what=“body” />
<br />
<p><txp:comments_invite /></p>

Didn’t show anything, so switched back to:

<txp:body /><br />
<p><txp:comments_invite /></p>

But still don’t have smilies :S

I think that this pluhgin is broken with the latest textpattern.

no its not broken. purely out of boredom i decided to install the plugin and try it out on a fresh 4.0.5 install. works fine for me.

the instructions are pretty simple. for any bodies of text you need to have these silly smilies in, use <txp:ied_replacer what=“body” /> in your output form instead of your regular txp:body tag.

Re: ...use BBCode?

Do I have to change that here: Presentation -> Forms -> Default ?

I also had one smiley working but once I’ve changed it to the smiley on my server it didn’t work (see code above)

Re: ...use BBCode?

Finally after restarting to edit the plugin from nothing I could get it working :)
last question, if possible :p
Is it possible to show in a page only a category of articles and is it possible to show a category of links, because I have separated links sections :)
Thanks, nice plugin :)

Re: ...use BBCode?

txp:category
txp:link_category

The complete tag listing should be of help to you.

Re: ...use BBCode?

Excuse the links above:) What you need is txp:category_list /. Just place it somewhere in your template and a list of linked categories will appear.

Re: ...use BBCode?

Thanks I could make the links working.
What I need is to show all the articles of a category named “News” in an article.
It would be great if on that page it shows all the articles in “News” by showing the title and under the title, the author and date.
The title would be a link to the article itself

Possible?

Example (article named “News”):

(List of all articles in category “News”)

Title (link to the article itself)
Author: date

<!— Next article(s) in “News” —>

I don’t find the code/tag to display a list of articles in a category with a link + author and date :S

Re: ...use BBCode?

what you are asking came with your default installation of txp. You need these in a form

<txp:permlink><txp::title /></txp:permlink><br />
<txp:author />, <txp:posted />

Re: ...use BBCode?

No, what I need is to display a list with the articles who are in the category named “News” and the listing has to be like this!

Title (link to article)
Author: date

And if possible that it shows the first lines of the article (like spip)
