Comment preferences not fixed in 4.05

I’ve just upgraded 4 sites to 4.05. The the process was smooth. All checks passed.

However, two of the sites had the disappearing comments problem. That problem was not fixed on either site with the upgrade.

I would greatly appreciate any help.

as for the comments problem i don’t know, but a force refresh fixes the display issue. no problems here in safari.

That did occur to me about 30 seconds after I posted. Silly me. The display issue is fixed and I edited my post (apparently as you were posting).

As for the comments issue…

Will somebody please award me with the Big Thicko of the Year Award. If one has commenting turned off, one does not see comment preferences. I’ll go climb under a rock now.
