Hostile Riding Systems
Simple site for mountain bike t-shirts.
Uses smd_slimbox and zem_contact_reborn
Comments please.
Cheers.

Re: Hostile Riding Systems
like it.. When hovering over the ‘order now’ graphic I get the “next” link.

Re: Hostile Riding Systems
Yeah.. It’s not actually a link. ‘Next’ it’s part of lightbox. Will eventually make an order button image map though.

Very nice and simple. I think it could be improved by replacing the .jpg pages with pages containing the jpg but having an ‘order now’ button that actually works – ie links to the order page.
Better still depending on the jpg, when the visitor lands in the order page the appropriate check box will be ticked. The radio buttons for the t-shirts should be replaced with check boxes so someone can order more than one if they wish.

Re: Hostile Riding Systems
All very, very good points… I’m not sure how i’d do most of that though, i might have to hack zem_contact but you’re right, something definately needs to be done to make ordering easier- seeing as that is the sole purpose of the site!
If anyone has ideas on how i could achieve these goals, bar hacking, please let me know. I’m not too afraid of coding but if there’s a way around it i’ll take it.

Create a page template and a section, perhaps called shirts, and put a link in it to your order form. You could use the same style as your front page. Instead of multiple squares, you’d just have one big jpg. One article per jpg which you would put in the body of your article. You could also have a link to next and link to previous on each page.
I suppose that’s the easy bit and would help sales. I don’t know about the other bits though.
