Re: zem_contact_reborn 4.0.3.19 (old version)
Hi Ruud,
the ID of my text areas don’t use their label text as their ID any more but are now named something like “qbea9f82e3c4e778636067a06eb9ee2d6” for instance, which involves maintaining CSS. This was not from the biginning, where I used 4.0.3.17. I now have the special version installed that you linked in the thread somewhere above, the one that should be pasted directly into the plugins’ “edit code” field. Seems like the changes to the fields’ IDs (and of course their classes and “label for= …” values) happened when I changed the field’s label texts with 4.0.3.19 installed. I can’t reproduce this any further as all of my text areas now have these strange IDs.

Re: zem_contact_reborn 4.0.3.19 (old version)
uli, you can explicitly specify the name attribute to avoid this, but take a look at the style section of the plugin help, because the new version has new classes added that should help you style textareas without having to do this for each textarea separately.

Ah, OK, a revised help, I didn’t have this in mind anymore. Don’t have it at hand. (Some posts above I asked you, whether you’d be so kind to post/upload the help text separately for those like me, who needed to paste the plugin code into the plugins’ “edit code” field.)

Use the normal download URL, but add ?gzip
at the end and you’ll have a compressed, small plugin that will install on your webhost.

Re: zem_contact_reborn 4.0.3.19 (old version)
Hello,
I am having the hardest time installing this plugin. I’m running 4.0.3. Initially when I would paste the text into the box and hit “upload,” I would immediately get a 404 error. So I tried the compressed version. Still no go. Grasping at straws, I made a couple of small changes in my .htaccess file. Then I was able to upload the plugin and advance to the preview page. Relief! But when I hit “install,” I got the 404 error again. Host is vervehosting. post_max_size=8M.
Anyone have any idea what could be tripping me up?
Here’s my .htaccess file as it now stands:
@DirectoryIndex index.php index.html
#Options +FollowSymLinks
#RewriteBase /relative/web/path/
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -f [OR]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -d
RewriteRule ^(.+) – [PT,L]
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^(.*) /index.php
</IfModule>
#php_value register_globals 0@
The changes I just made were uncommenting the first line and adding the forward slash before “index.php”.

Re: zem_contact_reborn 4.0.3.19 (old version)
I believe compressed plugins weren’t supported yet in 4.0.3. Upgrading to 4.0.5 is highly recommended (also fixes some security problems).
ferenczi, do you also have problems installing other plugins at the moment?

Thanks for the prompt reply, Ruud. Yes, I should upgrade, silly me.
No problems with any other plugins.
But I’ll upgrade and then report back.

Re: zem_contact_reborn 4.0.3.19 (old version)
Upgrade seemed to go without a hitch in most respects; but now I get: “Fatal error: Call to undefined function: assert_int() in /home/path/to/txp/include/txp_plugin.php on line 265”
My PHP skills are not so hot. Forgive me if someone else got a similar error and mentioned it previously; I did go through all 26 pages of this thread but things are a bit jumbled in my mind right now.
Any idea what could be generating this error?

Please verify the existence and up-to-dateness of /textpattern/lib/txp_misc.php

Hi!
I hope this isn’t a too dumb question:
Why the values for the value attribute in radio inputs are those weird numbers?
<input type="radio" checked="checked" name="zemDoSubscribe" class="zemRadio zemDoSubscribe" id="q0bcdc0a16cf7ae26e0a51f5655d5e5ee" value="q0bcdc0a16cf7ae26e0a51f5655d5e5ee"/> <label class="zemRadio zemDoSubscribe" for="q0bcdc0a16cf7ae26e0a51f5655d5e5ee">Si, quiero!</label>
<input type="radio" name="zemDoSubscribe" class="zemRadio zemDoSubscribe" id="qce57c9edb3e7d850eb6bee589a4648bf" value="qce57c9edb3e7d850eb6bee589a4648bf"/> <label class="zemRadio zemDoSubscribe" for="qce57c9edb3e7d850eb6bee589a4648bf">No</label>
This is the relevant code in my ZCR form:
<txp:zem_contact_radio label="Si, quiero!" name="zemDoSubscribe" checked=1 group="suscribir" />
<txp:zem_contact_radio label="No" />
I’m trying to use the ZCR together with the Postmaster plugin.
I think I just would like the values to be “yes” or “no”.
Thanks.

Julián, have you read my post from yesterday and Ruud’s replies? Maybe they’re helpful.
