How can I use the text pattern for CMS site developement?
Hello All,
Please Help Me..
I am nitin, I am learning how to use textpattern for developement of CMS site.
But I have faced lots of problem.
1. How can I display the title of particular article?
2. How can I display the number of articles belongs to particular article category?
3. How can I display the some part of article description?
Please Help Me ASAP…

Hi Nitin and welcome to txp community
My first meet with txp was also very difficult but that’s normal, every CMS need some time and efforts to understund it,
I think the first place to begin is textbook
Look at the top of the forum you will find a nav link “Txp Network Links” that gives you the most important txp sites where you can find information.
For you questions:
1- in admin/page tab you can find the XHTML code of the page, and there you can notice some tag beginning with txp: thoses tags are textpattern tag (see in textbook their description) the most important is txp:article who display articles and givin you complete controle over what is displayed (you can also see : txp:article_custom
2 – this is done by using plugin (make a search in the plugin subforum)
3 – txp:article or txp:article_custom using a particular form
