4.0.5 languages

After upgrading neme-imca.org the list in Preferences>Languages is unreadable as most not standard latin letters and non latin ones are replaced with question marks…

Well, the good news is that it isn’t update related…

The bad news is that your configured charset and the used charset are different. You have configured Charset ([...]config): [...]utf8 for utf8, but the tables are set to latin1:

Hi sencer
here is the history of the site
It was first created doing a dump of neme.org and install in a new db… This was because all was the same except the articles (and the url)… that was about 10 and a half months ago… About 15 months ago I moved the ‘pages’ to their own domain. This only meant that I created a new domain in txd and moved the txp folder there. Changed the path in config.php and in the admin interface and that was it. The database remained the same (it was not dumped and restored).
The languages were fine until the 4.0.5 update…

I did not switch out my config file at any point as I uploaded that with the new txp version..

I have a meeting soon and I will be reading the txb entry when i return. Will that give me a fix?

I think that the problem is now solved. I changed the language in the config file to latin1, reinstalled the language (English-gb) and all appeared as they should…
