Feedback on Textpattern 4.0.5 release

Btw, a new JQuery has been released that is 800%+ what are the chances of quickly putting it in now? So we don’t have to wait till next release ;-)

Looking great. Upgraded without any problems. One of the things I love about textpattern is that upgrades are both infrequent and, when they happen, utterly rock solid, rather than the endless patching and the continual addition of new “features” at the expense of stability that you get with some other tools. Thanks to all for your hard work.

Robin: Gah, they had to update the brief second we weren’t looking. I’m afraid another release is unlikely at this point, but the good news is you can just replace the file with the latest version, it won’t harm anything.

Support back end branding: customizable logo and color bar
Any more insight on that? is it just replacing the .gif and changing the #branding section?

Great work! Has anyone successfully updated a Txp site to 4.0.5 on Textdrive? My site appears to be fine, but when I click on the diagnostics tab I get a long pause followed by this 503 message:
Service Temporarily Unavailable
The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.
This has been happening for the last 8 or 10 hours.

Hi 6sigma,
thanks. I have updated a site on txd, on nelson to be more precise. I can access diagnostics (high and low) without any 503s. Don’t have an idea what your problem might be related to. Anything in the php-error-logs?
