Top websites and their CMS?

Hi all,

This has always been the best community in the CMS world, so I figured I’d ask this here.

Would you please list the most popular content websites you know of that use a recognized CMS? For example of websites I’m talking about: Alistapart, 9rules, etc.

• ALA – custom, RoR system
• 9rules – custom PHP system
• The Onion – Drupal
• evolt – Drupal
• Playboy Germany – Drupal
• New York Times – Wordpress with a lot of customization
• The Constitutional Matters Project – Textpattern! (not as big as the others, but it still has a large readership – TXP’s being moved to the root dir soon)

Hmmm….I don’t think The Constitutional Matters ranks even close with the others.

Another for the list:

Seed Magazine runs on MT

Digital Web – custom PHP system
(although, i’m launching the new version of the CMS – a complete rewrite in CakePHP – in a month or so)

xxlmag.com – one of the largest hiphop magazines (print&online) is using wordpress to power their website. somehow you’ll notice it though ;)
