XML-RPC and del.icio.us
I am trying to set up the “Daily Blog Posting” feature that delicious has, with textpattern (4.0.4) and having a pinch of trouble.
If I set it up with everything that i believe it should be set up with, it doesnt work and I get this error:

out_name is the login name you use for your blog
out_pass is the password you use for your blog
out_url is the full URL of the XML-RPC interface for your blog, which probably ends in something like mt-xmlrpc.cgi
out_time is the hour (from 0-23 in GMT) to post your links at every day
out_blog_id is your blog ID number (which is probably 1 if you have only one blog)
out_cat_id is optional: the category ID number in your blog where you’d like to put these posts
Those are the directions and my answers are currently
out_name : username
out_pass : password
out_url :
out_time : 10
out_blog_id : article
out_cat_id : 58
I think out_url is the sticky one. If I just put in http://mysite.com/rpc/ it give me the error above.
If I put in http://mysite.com/rpc/TXP_RPCServer.php it claims to work, but it doesnt actually post.
Any ideas?

Good luck tentaizu. As you said, I never really got an answer to my problem. I did some research (not sure what I did with the links) and it appears that when rpc was just a little hack (or whatever) on tp some people had it working. Haven’t seen evidence of that with the new official rpc. Thanks for bringing it up.

Anyone solved this issue? I tried tonight with no result on the Textpatttern side of it. However Del.icio.us says it has performed some task (1 item fetched).
